BRIEF: To raise the profile of ARF in the ACT community, with the aim to raise awareness and donations to the foundation.
I love dogs, so when the opportunity to do pro bono design work for ARF arose, I jumped at the chance.
When I started, the magazine was a two-page A4 flyer, that was sent to recipients electronically. Working with the Editor, I created a magazine look and feel for the content, and with considerably more content writers coming on board, we had enough content to progress the magazine to a longer electronic magazine.
As the magazine was gaining traction, I suggested printing some of the magazine and sending them to ACT and NSW veterinary clinics, to be placed in the waiting rooms. I worked to find a cheap printing deal for ARF, and the magazine was distributed, resulting in an increase in awareness and donations to the foundation.
I also designed a yearly calendar for ARF, that was sold as a fundraiser item.
