BRIEF: To create a cover design that is reminiscent of retro horror movie posters crossed with nostalgic sci-fi moods, for a trilogy about zombies and aliens attacking Earth simultaneously.

I created a distinct look and feel for the books, using a limited colour palette of blood red and spacey blues, and flat vector-based illustrations similar to those from retro horror movie posters.

I purposely used recognisable (almost cliche) UFO illustrations, to again hint at retro designs and to also make it obvious that the series is a mix of zombies and aliens.

I’m told by the author that the third book is on it’s way!
